The brand was originally founded by Knud Jakobsens in 1996 in Aulum, Denmark. Over the decades, it grew to become Scandinavia's largest producer of honey. In 2017, the company was acquired by the Scandinavian consumer goods giant Orkla through its subsidiary Orkla Food Ingredients, ensuring its long-term stability and extensive reach in the global food market.
