Smint is a globally recognized brand of breath mints, famously known for its triangular shape and convenient tin packaging. Launched in Spain in 1994, it was originally developed by the Chupa Chups company to target an adult market looking for sugar-free breath fresheners.
Today, the brand is owned by the Italian-Dutch multinational corporation Perfetti Van Melle, one of the largest confectionery groups in the world. While Smint is distributed in over 40 countries, its main production hub remains in Barcelona, Spain, where the brand originated. The Lemon Vitamin C variant shown in the image is a popular sugar-free option that combines flavor with nutritional supplements.
