Named after Publicis founder Marcel Bleustein-Blanchette, the tool was developed in collaboration with Microsoft to modernize the agency experience.
Since its inception, Marcel has evolved into a central hub for Publicis Groupe’s workforce, utilizing data and AI to match talent with client needs and internal projects. It represents a significant investment in digital transformation within the advertising and communications industry, moving away from traditional siloed agency structures toward a unified global 'Power of One' model.
Ownership and development remain entirely within Publicis Groupe, headquartered in France. While the technical infrastructure and software development are largely based in the United States and France through partnerships with Microsoft, the platform is exclusively available to Publicis employees worldwide.
