Engerix-B Hepatitis B vaccine

Engerix-B is a non-infectious recombinant DNA hepatitis B vaccine used to provide active immunization against hepatitis B virus infection. It was the first vaccine of its kind to be produced using genetic engineering, utilizing Saccharomyces cerevisiae (yeast) cells to carry the surface antigen of the hepatitis B virus.
