Leukosilk surgical tape

Leukosilk is a globally recognized medical adhesive tape manufactured by BSN medical, a company with deep German roots. The brand was originally developed to provide a high-quality, hypoallergenic fixation solution for medical wound care. It is specifically designed for sensitive skin, using a high-strength acetate silk material.

Historically, BSN medical was formed as a joint venture between the German company Beiersdorf and the British company Smith & Nephew. However, in 2017, the brand and the company were acquired by the Swedish global hygiene and health company, Essity. Today, while the management of the brand is under Essity, the production of Leukosilk continues to be primarily centered in Germany, maintaining its reputation for clinical-grade quality and German engineering in the healthcare sector.
