Radenska is one of the most iconic mineral water brands in Central Europe, known specifically for its Radenska Kraljevi Vrelec (King's Spring) variety. The brand was founded in 1869 by Dr. Karl Henn in Radenci, Slovenia, where the first bottles were filled manually. Historically, it gained immense fame as the official water of the imperial court in Vienna and the Vatican. The brand is instantly recognizable by its logo of three red hearts, which was designed in 1931.
While the brand is deeply rooted in Slovenian heritage and continues to be bottled at its original source in Radenci, it is currently owned by the Czech beverage giant Kofola ČeskoSlovensko. Kofola acquired Radenska in 2015 as part of its strategic expansion into the Adriatic region. Today, Radenska serves as a key subsidiary for Kofola, managing not only the mineral water portfolio but also distributing other international brands within the Balkan markets. The manufacturing remains focused in Slovenia to preserve the authenticity and mineral composition of the natural spring water.
