Batu Karu Temple (Pura Luhur Batukaru)

Pura Luhur Batukaru is a significant Hindu temple located on the slopes of Mount Batukaru in Bali, Indonesia. It is one of Bali's nine directional temples (kayangan jagat) meant to protect the island from evil spirits. The structure shown is a classic example of Balinese architecture, featuring stone-carved Candi Bentar (split gateways) and intricate statues reflecting the region's religious heritage.
