Pic’s Peanut Butter is a celebrated New Zealand brand that began in Nelson, NZ, when founder Pic Picot started roasting peanuts in a concrete mixer in 2007 out of dissatisfaction with sugar-laden peanut butters. Today, the product is still locally produced in Nelson at Pic’s Peanut Butter World, using high-quality peanuts primarily sourced from Australia (Kingaroy).
The brand remains privately held by the Picot family, maintaining its status as an iconic Kiwi-owned business. The 'SmOOCHY' variety shown is their signature blend designed to provide the creaminess of smooth butter with the texture of crunchy pieces. Pic's has grown from a local farmers' market stall to a global exporter, while keeping its headquarters and core manufacturing operations firmly in New Zealand.
