Starbucks Caffè Verona is a dark roast whole bean coffee blend known for its rich cocoa notes and caramelized sugar sweetness. Originally named 80/20 Blend when it was first created in 1975 for a Seattle restaurant, it was eventually renamed Caffè Verona after the city that inspires so many for its romantic associations. The coffee is sourced from multiple growing regions, primarily in Latin America and Asia-Pacific, and is roasted in various Starbucks facilities worldwide to maintain freshness for local markets.

While Starbucks Coffee Company remains the owner of the brand, its consumer packaged goods (CPG) roasted coffee products sold in grocery and retail channels are part of a Global Coffee Alliance with Nestlé. Since 2018, Nestlé has held the perpetual rights to market Starbucks consumer and foodservice products globally, outside of Starbucks coffee houses. This partnership combines Starbucks' brand heritage with Nestlé's massive global distribution network.
