Odor-Eaters is a well-established brand specializing in foot care and odor neutralisation products. The brand was originally developed in the United States by Combe Incorporated in the early 1970s, famously introducing activated charcoal technology into shoe insoles to absorb moisture and odor.
Today, the brand's ownership is split by region. In North America and various global markets, the brand was acquired from Combe by Blistex Inc. and later became part of the HRB Brands portfolio (owned by private equity firm High Ridge Brands). However, in specific European and Commonwealth markets like the UK and Australia, the brand has historically been licensed or managed through different entities. For much of its recent history, it has been a staple in the personal hygiene category, produced in various facilities globally to meet regional demand.
The current ultimate owner for the brand globally (post-2021/2022 acquisitions) is HRB Brands, which manages an extensive portfolio of heritage personal care labels. Manufacturing typically occurs in the United States for the North American market, while products for other regions may be sourced from local or regional contract manufacturers.
