Blauer, often referred to as Blauer USA, has a rich history that began in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1936, founded by Louis Blauer. Initially, the brand gained fame as a leading supplier of technical uniforms for American police officers, firefighters, and military personnel, known for its focus on durability and functionality.

In the early 2000s, the brand transitioned into the fashion market through a partnership with the Italian company FGF Industry S.p.A., led by Enzo Fusco. This collaboration combined the brand's American heritage of high-performance technical gear with Italian style and design. Today, Blauer is predominantly an Italian-managed fashion brand with an international presence. While it maintains its American identity, the design and ownership are rooted in Italy. Manufacturing takes place in multiple locations across Europe and Asia to meet global demand.
