Albi is a historic German beverage brand with roots dating back to 1928, when it was founded by Hans Rösch in Berghülen, Germany. Originally starting as a small cider mill, the company evolved into one of the country's most recognized fruit juice producers, known for its iconic crown logo and premium juice blends like the 'Frühstücks-Drink' (Breakfast Drink).
In December 2017, the brand underwent a significant transition when it was acquired by EDEKA, Germany's largest supermarket corporation. Following the acquisition, production was eventually centralized to leverage EDEKA's existing infrastructure, specifically moving to a facility in Rostock. Today, Albi operates as a key subsidiary within EDEKA's beverage portfolio, maintaining its heritage as a German-made product while benefiting from the logistical reach of its parent company.
