OTA Solgryn is a legendary Danish breakfast staple consisting of core-roasted rolled oats. The brand was originally created by the company OTA (Oatmeal Trading Associates) in the early 20th century, specifically in 1898 in Copenhagen, and became a household name in Denmark characterized by its distinctive yellow packaging and the 'sun' rising over a bowl of oats.

Over the decades, the ownership of the brand has changed several times. It was acquired by Quaker Oats/PepsiCo and later by the Danish company Crispy Food A/S in 2019. Currently, the brand is owned by the Danish conglomerate Kelsen Group, following a restructuring after its parent company’s divestment cycles. The manufacturing remains rooted in Denmark at the Crispy Food facilities in Nakskov, ensuring the traditional Danish quality and flavor that has sustained its popularity for over a century.
