Vademecum is a specialized oral care brand with deep roots in natural and herbal hygiene solutions. The Vademecum Homéophytol variant is specifically designed to be compatible with homeopathic treatments, formulated without mint and enriched with plant extracts. The brand originated in France, where it has built a strong reputation for combining traditional herbal knowledge with modern dental science.
Historically part of the Laboratories Vademecum, the brand was integrated into the portfolio of Henkel, a German multinational company. For decades, it was managed by Henkel's Beauty Care division. However, as of 2023, following a significant portfolio optimization by Henkel, the Vademecum brand (along with other personal care brands) was acquired by the French investment group Laboratoire Native. Today, Laboratoire Native oversees the brand's development and distribution, maintaining its focus on naturality and botanical expertise. While manufacturing primarily occurs in France to maintain its original heritage, production has also been noted in other European facilities depending on regional distribution needs.
