Birell Polotmavý Citrón non-alcoholic beverage

Birell is a leading brand of non-alcoholic beer in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Originally launched in the early 1990s by the Radegast brewery, it was developed using a unique yeast strain that allows for a brewing process without the formation of alcohol while maintaining a traditional beer flavor. This specific variant, Polotmavý Citrón, is a semi-dark flavored non-alcoholic beer with lemon.

Today, the brand is produced primarily in the Czech Republic at facilities owned by Plzeňský Prazdroj. Following a series of corporate acquisitions, the brand is currently under the ownership of Asahi Group Holdings, a Japanese multinational brewery and beverage company. Asahi acquired Plzeňský Prazdroj as part of its expansion into the European market, making it the ultimate owner of the Birell portfolio.
