Vårgårda is a relatively new brand of premium snus inspired by the nature and flavors of the Swedish countryside. The brand is specifically known for its artisanal approach, using high-quality tobacco and unique flavor profiles like herbs, berries, and forest scents.

The brand was launched in 2023 by JTI (Japan Tobacco International) as a modern tribute to the historic tobacco traditions of the Vårgårda area in Sweden. It is produced at the Joti factory in Vårgårda, Sweden, ensuring that the manufacturing remains physically connected to its namesake location. The ultimate owner is the Japanese multinational Japan Tobacco Inc., following the acquisition of the local producer Gallaher Group and subsequent internal brand developments within JTI's Nordic portfolio.
