Salomon is a globally recognized outdoor sports brand founded in the heart of the French Alps. The brand is renowned for its technical innovations in skiing equipment and, more recently, its significant impact on the trail running and lifestyle sneaker markets. Salomon's production is distributed globally, with manufacturing facilities located in multiple countries across Asia and Europe to meet international demand.

Originally founded by Georges Salomon and his family, the company has transitioned through several major ownership stages. After being part of the Adidas group for nearly a decade, it was acquired by the Finnish conglomerate Amer Sports in 2005. Today, Amer Sports itself is under the ownership of a consortium led by the Chinese sportswear giant Anta Sports, which maintains Salomon's headquarters and R&D design in Annecy, France, while leveraging global logistics and manufacturing networks for worldwide distribution.
