Horalky is an iconic Slovak wafer snack that has been produced since 1953. It is characterized by its rectangular shape, peanut cream filling, and a cocoa coating that covers only the edges and sides of the wafer, leaving the top and bottom patterns visible.

The brand has a rich history tied to the post-war industrialization of Czechoslovakia. Originally created by the state-owned enterprise Pečivárne Sereď, it became a cultural staple in both Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Following the privatization era in the 1990s, the production facility and the brand were acquired by the Sedita company, which is part of the larger I.D.C. Holding group.

Today, the manufacturing process remains rooted in its original location in Sereď, Slovakia. The brand successfully maintains its market leadership in the region by preserving its traditional recipe while expanding its distribution to international markets. It remains under Slovak ownership through I.D.C. Holding, which is one of the largest confectionery producers in Central and Eastern Europe.
