Liptonic Sparkling Ice Tea

Liptonic is a carbonated ice tea beverage produced under the Lipton brand, which has a long history dating back to Sir Thomas Lipton in Scotland. This specific product, 'Liptonic l’Original', is a sparkling version of tea extract flavored with lime or lemon, popular in France and the Benelux region.

While the Lipton brand originated in the UK, it has been a centerpiece of a joint venture between Unilever and PepsiCo known as the Pepsi Lipton Tea Partnership. However, following recent corporate shifts, the global tea business (excluding India and Indonesia) was spun off into an independent company named ekaterra, which was subsequently acquired by CVC Capital Partners. In various European markets, including Belgium, the bottling and distribution of Lipton beverages are managed by PepsiCo-related subsidiaries.
