Aunt Jemima is a historic American brand of pancake mix and syrup. Originally founded in 1889 by Chris Rutt and Charles G. Underwood as the Pearl Milling Company, the brand was later sold to the Quaker Oats Company in 1925. In 2001, PepsiCo acquired Quaker Oats, becoming the ultimate owner. In 2021, the brand was officially rebranded as Pearl Milling Company to address racial stereotypes associated with its previous identity; however, older bottles like the one in the image still carry the legacy name. The product is primarily manufactured in the United States and distributed globally through PepsiCo's extensive network.
