Little Trees is an iconic brand of automotive air fresheners that originated in Watertown, New York, in 1952. The idea was developed by Julius Sämann, a German-Jewish chemist who had fled Nazi Germany. He created the first pine-scented hanging car freshener at the request of a milk truck driver who was bothered by the smell of spilled milk.

Today, the brand is owned by CAR-FRESHNER Corporation, a family-owned business still headquartered in Watertown. While the brand is American, the products are manufactured in several locations globally to meet international demand, including major factories in DeWitt, Iowa, and Sahagun, Spain. The 'Black Ice' variant shown in the image is one of their most popular fragrances worldwide.

In Europe, the products are often distributed and marketed under the brand name 'WUNDER-BAUM' (especially in Germany and Northern Europe) or 'Arbre Magique' (in France and Italy), but the distinct tree shape and the ultimate ownership by CAR-FRESHNER Corporation remain consistent across all markets.
