Europa FM

Europa FM is one of Romania's most influential and respected commercial radio stations, known for its focus on quality news, talk shows, and adult contemporary music. Launched in 2000, it was the first private radio network in Romania with national coverage, setting a high standard for professional broadcasting in the country.

The station was originally established by the French media conglomerate Lagardère Group. Over the years, it has become a staple of Romanian media culture, particularly through its flagship news programs and talk shows that feature prominent Romanian journalists. The station's operations, including broadcasting and content production, are primarily based in Bucharest, Romania.

In 2018, as part of a strategic shift, Lagardère sold its radio assets in Central and Eastern Europe to Czech Media Invest (CMI). Through its subsidiary, Czech Radio Center (now part of the wider Media Invest Group), the station continues to operate as a dominant player in the Romanian market, maintaining its reputation for balanced reporting and hit-based musical programming.
