Żubrówka Bison Grass Vodka

Żubrówka, often known in English as Bison Grass Vodka, is a legendary Polish vodka brand with a history dating back over 600 years to the Białowieża Forest. It is uniquely flavored with a blade of bison grass (Hierochloe odorata) placed in every bottle, which gives the spirit its distinct yellowish tint and herbal aroma.

Historically, the brand was produced by the state-owned Polmos Bialystok. Since early 2022, the brand has been owned by Maspex, one of the largest food companies in Central and Eastern Europe, after they acquired it from Russian-owned Roust Group. Production remains deeply rooted in Poland, primarily at the distillery in Białystok, ensuring its authentic heritage and geographical indication status.
