Skovlyst Beer

Skovlyst is a renowned Danish beer brand with its historical roots dating back to 1892 at the 'Traktørstedet Skovlyst' in the Hareskoven forest near Copenhagen. The modern brewery brand was established in 2005 by brewmaster Casper Møller.

In 2015, the business split into two independent entities: Bryggeri Skovlyst (the original restaurant-brewery in Hareskoven) and Skovlyst Production A/S. While the restaurant-brewery produces its own small-batch craft beer locally in Denmark, the larger-scale commercial production found in supermarkets is handled by Skovlyst Production A/S.

To meet high demand and maintain competitive prices, the commercial bottled products are brewed through partnerships with respected family-owned breweries across Europe, primarily in Poland (Van Pur), France (La Goudale), and Austria. The brand remains under Danish ownership, led by its founder Casper Møller and his family.
