In 2021, Royal Philips sold its Domestic Appliances business to Hillhouse Investment, which now operates the category under the name Versuni. Currently, while design often retains European roots, manufacturing for such appliances is largely centralized in global hubs, primarily China, to serve international markets including Sweden.
