Kotányi Zimt Gemahlen (Ground Cinnamon) is a premium spice product from the historic Austrian brand Kotányi. The brand dates back to 1881, when János Kotányi founded a paprika mill in Szeged, Hungary. Shortly after, the brand center moved to Wolkersdorf, Austria, where it has remained for generations.

The product is manufactured and processed in the brand's main production facility in Wolkersdorf im Weinviertel, Austria. While the raw materials like cinnamon are sourced globally from regions where they are native, the processing, quality control, and packaging are handled in Austria. Today, Kotányi is a leading international herb and spice brand, exporting to over 20 countries while maintaining its status as a family-owned enterprise. Erwin Kotányi currently leads the company as the fourth generation of the founding family.
