Texels Skuumkoppe 0.0 is the non-alcoholic version of the iconic 'Skuumkoppe' wheat beer, originating from the island of Texel in the Netherlands. The brand was established by the Texelse Bierbrouwerij, which began operations in 1999 in a former dairy factory. Known for using local ingredients like Texel barley and dune water, it became a national favorite for its unique dark wheat beer character.

In 2020, the Texelse Bierbrouwerij was fully acquired by Heineken N.V., one of the world's largest brewing companies. While the brand maintains its island identity and regional marketing, its production and distribution are now managed under the Heineken umbrella. The 0.0 variant was developed to meet growing consumer demand for alcohol-free alternatives that retain the complex, malty flavor of the original craft specialty beer.
