Bony snack cake

Bony is an iconic Spanish snack cake consisting of a sponge base filled with cream and strawberry jam, coated in chocolate. It was originally launched by the Spanish company Bimbo (formed as a partnership between Mexican founders and Spanish local interests) in the 1970s and became a staple of 'merienda' (afternoon snacks) in Spain.

Today, Bony is part of the Bimbo Iberia portfolio. The product is primarily manufactured in Spain to supply the Iberian market. The brand is owned by Grupo Bimbo, a Mexican multinational that has grown to become the largest bakery company in the world.
