GAZİ Halloumi

GAZİ Halloumi is a traditional Cypriot grilling cheese produced in Cyprus in accordance with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) standards. The product is crafted using a mixture of cow's, sheep's, and goat's milk, following long-standing traditions that include hand-folding and refining with mint and salt.

The GAZİ brand was established in Germany in 1972 by Dr. Eduardo Garcia, specifically to cater to the demand for high-quality Mediterranean dairy products in Northern Europe. Despite its Turkish-sounding name, the brand is a German success story, rooted in Stuttgart. It is currently owned by the garmo AG, a major European dairy supplier that remains headquartered in Germany and focuses on authentic ethnic foods.
