Aigle is a historic French heritage brand founded in 1853 by Hiram Hutchinson in Montargis, France. Originally established as 'Compagnie du Caoutchouc Souple,' the company revolutionized outdoor footwear by introducing vulcanized rubber boots, which remain the brand's signature product.

Today, Aigle is renowned for its high-quality rubber boots, handcrafted at its historic manufacturing site in Ingrandes, France. While its iconic boots are still predominantly made in France, other apparel and accessories are manufactured globally. Since 2003, the brand has been part of the Swiss private-held group MF Brands Group, which has helped expand its presence throughout Europe and Asia, particularly in Japan and South Korea.
