Tetley is a British beverage brand originally founded in 1837 by Joseph and Edward Tetley. It became one of the most successful tea brands globally, pioneered by its introduction of the tea bag in the UK in the 1950s. While historically a British icon, the brand was acquired in 2000 by the Indian conglomerate Tata Group.
Today, Tetley operates as part of Tata Consumer Products. Its manufacturing is decentralized, with large blending and packaging facilities located in the United Kingdom, India, and other regional hubs to serve global markets. The Linden infusion shown here is marketed in Southern European markets like Portugal and Spain, often being packaged in regional facilities.
