Kláštorná Kalcia is a renowned Slovakian mineral water brand, celebrated for its high calcium content and distinct mineral profile. The water is sourced from the Turiec Basin in Slovakia, specifically from a spring located nearly 300 meters underground in the village of Kláštor pod Znievom, which has a long history of water bottling dating back to the early 20th century.
Historically, the brand faced financial difficulties and was out of production for several years until it was acquired and revived in 2018. Today, the brand is owned by Kofola ČeskoSlovensko a.s., a major player in the Central European beverage market. The company revitalized Kláštorná Kalcia with a modern identity and eco-friendly packaging, ensuring its position as a staple in Slovak and Czech households. Production remains strictly localized at the source in Slovakia to maintain the integrity and mineral composition of the water.
