Tim Hortons is an iconic Canadian brand founded in 1964 by hockey legend Tim Horton and Jim Charade. Originally starting as a coffee and donut shop in Hamilton, Ontario, it has expanded to become Canada's largest quick-service restaurant chain. While the brand is quintessentially Canadian, its ownership has evolved significantly over the years.
Today, Tim Hortons is a subsidiary of Restaurant Brands International (RBI), a massive multinational fast-food holding company. RBI was formed in 2014 following the merger between Burger King and Tim Hortons. The coffee used in these K-Cup pods is roasted in-house at Tim Hortons' roasting facilities in Ancaster, Ontario, and Rochester, New York, maintaining the brand's commitment to its signature flavor profiles. The K-Cup pods themselves are produced through a partnership with Keurig Dr Pepper.
