Grundig is a historic brand with a legacy that dates back to 1945 in Nuremberg, Germany, when it was founded by Max Grundig. Initially rising to prominence as one of the leading European manufacturers of radios and televisions, the brand became a symbol of German engineering excellence and modern consumer electronics throughout the mid-20th century.
Following a period of financial restructuring in the early 2000s, the Grundig brand was acquired. Today, while it retains its German identity and design aesthetics, the brand is owned by Arçelik A.Ş., a global household appliances manufacturer. Arçelik is part of Koç Holding, Turkey's largest industrial conglomerate.
Modern Grundig products, including this portable Bluetooth speaker, are designed with German heritage in mind but are primarily manufactured in Arçelik's global production facilities, largely in China and Turkey, to serve international markets.
