Garoto Talento Chocolate with Almonds and Raisins

Talento is a premium chocolate brand originally launched by Garoto, one of Brazil's most traditional confectionery companies. Founded in 1929 in Vila Velha, Espírito Santo, Garoto grew to become a household name in Latin America. The Talento line is characterized by its square format and inclusion of nuts and dried fruits.

In 2002, the Swiss multinational Nestlé announced the acquisition of Chocolates Garoto. Although the merger faced decades of antitrust scrutiny in Brazil, it was definitively approved in recent years. Today, Talento is manufactured in the Garoto factory in Vila Velha, Brazil, which remains one of the largest chocolate production facilities in the world, while the brand is under the ultimate ownership of Nestlé, headquartered in Switzerland.
