Linex is a well-known probiotic brand used to restore and maintain the balance of intestinal microflora. The product shown, 'Linex Formula Activă', contains specific bacterial strains like Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium.

Originally developed by Lek Pharmaceuticals in Slovenia, the brand became part of the Sandoz portfolio through corporate acquisitions. Sandoz was a longtime division of the Swiss multinational Novartis. However, in late 2023, Sandoz was successfully spun off as a fully independent, publicly traded company. While it maintains its manufacturing roots in Slovenia, it is now globally reaching as a leader in generic and biosimilar medicines, headquartered in Basel, Switzerland.
