This image features the mummy and sarcophagus of Nesperennub, an ancient Egyptian priest from Thebes. The artifact dates back to the 22nd Dynasty (circa 800 BC). It consists of a cartonnage case (a material made of layers of linen or papyrus stuck together with plaster) which was originally housed within an outer wooden sarcophagus.

The vibrant decorations on the case depict various religious entities and symbols designed to protect the deceased in the afterlife, including the sky goddess Nut and the beetle god Khepri. As a historical artifact of antiquity, it does not have a modern brand or commercial owner; it is a cultural heritage item. Currently, it is part of the collection of the British Museum and is often displayed in international exhibitions.
