Angelli is a prominent brand in the Romanian beverage market, established in 1994. While the brand carries an Italian-inspired name and style, evocative of traditional Italian wine-making heritage, its production is deeply rooted in Romania. Specifically, the products are manufactured at the Angelli Spumante & Aperitive factory in Bucharest.

The brand's journey began with a focus on sparkling wines and vermouths, quickly becoming a market leader in Romania. In 2003, Angelli was acquired by the German group Henkell & Co. (now Henkell Freixenet), which is the sparkling wine, wine, and spirits division of the Oetker Group. This acquisition integrated Angelli into a global network of premium sparkling wine producers, while maintaining its local manufacturing presence and catering specifically to Eastern European tastes with products like the Fragola strawberry-flavored sparkling cocktail.
