Nerds Gummy Clusters are a popular confectionery product defined by a chewy gummy center coated in crunchy, tangy Nerds candies. The brand was originally created in 1983 by the Willy Wonka Candy Factory, which was a division of Nestlé.

In 2018, Ferrero Group acquired Nestlé's U.S. confectionery business, which included the Nerds brand. Today, the brand is managed under Ferrara Candy Company, a major American candy manufacturer and subsidiary of the Italian-based Ferrero Group. While historically tied to the United States, manufacturing now occurs in multiple North American facilities to meet global demand, including those in the United States and Mexico.
