Albalact Fulga dairy products

Fulga is one of Romania's most recognizable dairy brands, particularly famous for its playful mascot and range of milk-based snacks aimed at children. The brand was launched in 2004 by the Romanian dairy company Albalact, which is based in Alba Iulia. It quickly became a market leader in the UHT milk and flavored milk sectors due to its innovative packaging and strong marketing presence.

In 2016, Albalact was acquired by the French multinational dairy giant Lactalis. Since the acquisition, Fulga has been part of the world's largest dairy products group, while maintaining its local production roots in Romania. The products are primarily manufactured at the Albalact plant in Oiejdea, Alba County, ensuring that despite the international ownership, the brand remains deeply integrated into the local Romanian agricultural chain.
