Lladro is a world-renowned Spanish brand specializing in the creation of art porcelain figurines. Founded in 1953 by brothers Juan, José, and Vicente Lladró in the village of Almàssera, Spain, the brand quickly became synonymous with high-quality craftsmanship and elegant design.

All Lladro pieces are exclusively handmade in the company's single manufacturing facility, known as the 'City of Porcelain,' located in Tavernes Blanques, Valencia, Spain. This ensures that every piece maintains the artistic standards and specific technical processes—such as the single-firing method—that the brand is famous for.

The brand remains under the ultimate ownership of many specialized entities, but it was acquired in early 2017 by PHI Industrial, a Spanish private equity group. This transition aimed to ensure the business's long-term sustainability while maintaining its heritage as a premier Spanish luxury brand.
