Nestlé White Chocolate Smarties

Smarties is a long-standing chocolate brand originating from the United Kingdom, first launched by H.I. Rowntree & Company in 1937. Today, the brand is owned by the Swiss multinational food and drink conglomerate Nestlé, which acquired Rowntree in 1988.

While originally a British creation, the manufacturing of Smarties now takes place in several locations worldwide to serve different markets. For the European and Scandinavian markets, production is often based in Germany or the UK, though Nestlé operates factories across the globe. The white chocolate variant shown here represents a modern extension of the classic sugar-coated chocolate bean line.
