Pipers Crisps is a premium British snack brand founded in 2004 by three farmers—Alex Albone, Simon Bowes, and James Sweeting—who aimed to produce high-quality potato crisps with bold, distinct flavours.
The brand is renowned for sourcing specific ingredients from specialist producers, such as the Longhorn beef used in this variety, which comes from Great Berwick Farm in Shropshire. The crisps are manufactured in Brigg, Lincolnshire, England, maintaining a strong heritage of British agricultural sourcing.
In 2019, the brand was acquired by PepsiCo, the American multinational food and beverage corporation. Despite the change in ownership, Pipers continues to operate as a distinct premium brand within the PepsiCo portfolio, retaining its manufacturing base in the United Kingdom to ensure the high quality and local sourcing standards defined at its inception.
