Santa Maria Spices and Tex Mex

Santa Maria is the leading seasoning and Tex-Mex brand in the Nordic market and has a strong presence across Northern Europe and the Baltics. The brand traces its roots back to Gothenburg, Sweden, specifically to the Nordfalks AB company which was established in the early 20th century. Over decades, it transitioned from a local spice merchant into a dominant international brand specializing in herbs, spices, and Mexican-inspired cuisine components.

In 2001, the Finnish food group Paulig became a majority owner of the brand, eventually acquiring it fully. Today, Santa Maria serves as a cornerstone of Paulig's broader international portfolio. Manufacturing is primarily concentrated in modern facilities in Saue, Estonia (where a significant portion of the spice range is produced), and Sweden, ensuring high quality and sustainable production standards for the European market.
