Burgasko beer

Burgasko (Бургаско) is a well-known Bulgarian beer brand that originated in the port city of Burgas. It was first brewed in 1969 by the Burgasko Pivo brewery, quickly becoming a staple in the Bulgarian market, particularly popular along the Black Sea coast due to its refreshing lager profile. Its branding often features maritime symbols, reflecting its coastal heritage.

Over the decades, the ownership of the brand transitioned through the consolidation of the European brewing industry. Today, Burgasko is brewed and distributed by Kamenitza AD, one of Bulgaria's largest brewing companies. Kamenitza AD is a subsidiary of Molson Coors Beverage Company, a major multinational drink and brewing company. While it maintains its local identity and Bulgarian manufacturing base, it is backed by the global logistics and standards of its American-Canadian parent corporation.
