Today, the manufacturing of Motorola devices is heavily centralized in China to leverage Lenovo's extensive supply chain, though the company maintains significant assembly operations in Brazil and India to serve regional markets and comply with local trade regulations. The brand remains headquartered in Chicago, maintaining its American design roots while operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of its Chinese parent company.
