Hyper is a popular Bulgarian wafer brand manufactured by Prestige-96, one of the leading food production companies in the Balkans. Founded in 1996 in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, the brand is highly recognized for its tiered wafer bars with various cream fillings. Throughout its history, the company has transformed from a small local producer into a major regional player.

Today, the brand remains under the umbrella of Prestige-96 AD, which is backed by international investment groups. Specifically, it is owned by a consortium of investors including the British investment firm TRG (The Rohatyn Group) and the Greek private equity firm NBGI Private Equity. This ownership structure has enabled the brand to modernize its production facilities in Veliko Tarnovo, maintaining a strong manufacturing presence in Bulgaria while exporting to dozens of international markets.
