Berendsen is a prominent brand in the textile and workwear service industry, providing commercial laundry and facility management solutions across Europe. Originally established in Denmark, the company grew into a major multinational player, specializing in rental services for healthcare garments, industrial uniforms, and washroom hygiene products.

In 2017, Berendsen was acquired by the French group Elis, a global leader in circular service solutions. Following the acquisition, much of the Berendsen branding has transitioned into the Elis identity. Today, the operations previously under the Berendsen name are part of a vast network of processing centers located throughout Europe and Brazil, emphasizing sustainable textile management and local service delivery.
