The Siemens Porsche Design Electric Kettle is a premium kitchen appliance born from a collaboration between the historic German engineering firm Siemens and Porsche Design Studio. The product line was originally conceived in Germany, combining robust industrial engineering with the sleek, professional aesthetics characteristic of the Porsche brand. These kettles are typically constructed with brushed aluminum or stainless steel exteriors.
While the brand Siemens originated in Germany, the home appliances division (BSH) is now the entity responsible for these products. Manufacturing for Siemens small appliances has transitioned over the years to global facilities, with most modern units being produced in China under strict quality control to meet European standards. In 2015, Robert Bosch GmbH acquired Siemens' stake in their joint venture, BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, making Bosch the ultimate owner while continuing to use the Siemens brand name under a long-term licensing agreement.
