Roamer Stingray Watch

Roamer is a historic Swiss watchmaker founded in 1888 by Fritz Meyer in Solothurn, Switzerland. The brand initially focused on manufacturing cylinder escapements before evolving into a full-scale watch manufacturer. The 'Stingray' model series, visible in the image, represents one of their most iconic vintage collections from the mid-20th century, known for its durable design and Swiss movement.

Throughout its history, Roamer was a highly successful independent brand, eventually establishing its own movement manufacture known as MST. After the quartz crisis of the 1970s, the brand changed ownership several times. Since 2009, it has been under the ownership of Swiss Watch Group, maintaining its 'Swiss Made' heritage and continuing production within Switzerland.
